We’re all familiar with the effects of floods: the damage, floating from place to place in a canoe (yes, people were really doing this after the Great Atlanta Flood of 2009), and yes, the dreaded old water smell.
Did you ever think about a waffle shortage?
The floods aren’t entirely to blame, but expect a waffle shortage for awhile, at least if you’re going for an Eggo waffle. Ah well. This reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom would fix pancakes every morning for months because it was what my dad wanted and why make me eat cereal when I could have a hot breakfast? Naturally, I grew sick of pancakes after awhile and grew to crave waffles more. Now I’ll take either, but in moderation.
I’ll still take oatmeal for breakfast, though.
