Spam comments amuse me. Sure, most of the time they’re full of links, penis enhancements, and offers to play poker, but every now and then there’s a gem that reminds me why I don’t hit the Empty Spam button without a second thought. Here’s one of them, courtesy of today’s spam comments.
As I started to put my belongings back into the pocketbook, the man continued, “I hope you don’t mind if we watch. Even though we all tried, none of us could fit everything into your purse. And we’d like to see just how you do it.”
Even though I know several people who collect names from spam emails, collecting spam comments is new to me. This comment would make a good writing prompt. Write a story containing this line. Bonus points if it’s not about someone showing the most efficient way to pack a purse. I may have to do that this week.
