I’m an archivist by nature. This is why I run Wikiwrimo and is why I have a hard time parting with things that could be handy anything. I’m not a hoarder by any means, but I might want to look back at my first draft of my first failed novel one day. You never know.
I’m not a famous writer, so my writings could go anywhere when I’m gone. Jane Austen’s, on the other hand, are now online. A group of scholars put together over a thousand pages of Austen’s handwritten works that she wrote throughout her entire life. Now they’re online for your and my perusal. This is very cool, and now I’m going to waste some time before NaNo starts by reading some of Jane Austen’s thoughts.
