This afternoon I mentioned to a friend that I wanted to paint my fingernails, partly because I haven’t done that in at least a year. I asked for a color because my nail polish collection is far too extensive for someone who doesn’t paint her nails anymore. The winning color was navy blue. I own a dark blue and went with that. The conversation turned into a full pamperfest, complete with doing my hair in braids (may as well while I’m at it, right?). This is also something I haven’t done in a long time. Tonight was as good a time as any to do it.
Everyone deserves a good pampering now and then. When was the last time you treated yourself?

Today? You’re right. we need to do that more often. When I was in university I always had polished nails, for instance. It was easier than, pre-computer days, to maintain them. Today I find they just get in the way of typing and aren’t conducive to pie baking!
in other areas…………….hmmmm…. wait a minute…..I’ll think of something. Nope. I guess I don’t do that enough. Unless hot baths with candles, sea salts with essential oils and incense burning counts. If it does, I pamper regularly!
@Lori Hot baths totally count! I could use one right now, actually. These essential oils won’t use themselves, you know.
