I don’t use Windows as my primary operating system anymore, but it has definitely come a long way since the Windows 3.1 version I remember as a kid. Since then I’ve seen Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME (yeah, I know), and XP, and I hung tight to XP, managing to skip Vista before jumping ship to Linux and therefore skipping Windows 7 altogether. I don’t regret this for anything because Linux is much better at just about everything (though maybe I’m biased), but watching this video of one guy who reinstalled every major version of Windows brought back some major memories. It’s about ten minutes long, but it’s a fascinating watch. He also did the same thing with Internet Explorer, which is another long but fascinating watch. Don’t you feel the nostalgia already?
