A day of work, except not

What do you call a day where you get no proper work done yet you manage to get all kinds of other important things done?

I’m still trying to decide that. Thanks to moving recently and the Three-Day Novel weekend last weekend and other fun shenanigans, my to-do list has slowly grown, and it reached the point of being unmanageable today. If I put anything on the list off any longer, those things would pile up and I would suffer the consequences, whether it be through scavenging for clothes for food.

Luckily I had to go to the bank today, so I forced myself to go to the grocery store as well afterward. After that I read the two newest long chapters of Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality, did laundry, and did other (more) important things that needed to be done.

Is it okay that I didn’t do any proper work today? Maybe. We’ll see at the end of the week. All I know is that doing all these other important things is also good so they don’t eat into my time later. Laundry, I’m looking at you.
